Welcome to Law College Rajnandgaon

Pt. Kishorilal Shukla Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Rajnandgaon (C.G.) was established with registration received from the Bar Council of India in 1967. It was established by the Society, Nandgaon Shiksha Mandal, registered in 1956. The college is one of the premier institutes of its field in Chhattisgarh and has contributed innumerable qualified and skilled law professional to serve the society.

We were established in 1959 as a department of law with only 20 students in Digvijay College whose first honorary principal was Pt. Kishorilal Shukla Nandgaon Shiksha Mandal, registered in 1956 is the foundation society of the college. In the session 1967-68, the society took a major decision regarding the conversion of the department of law into an independent full fledged law college, complying the instructions of BCI. Initially affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur, Pt. Kishorilal Shukla Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, came into existence with its own building and fully equipped library. At present, the college is affiliated to Hemchand Yadav University, Durg (C.G.).

Our library is designated as one of the best and well equipped libraries in Rajnandgaon region with the facility of E-library. It has a good collection of books, journals, digests and and manuals. With a very active legal Aid Clinic, the college also has been associated effectively in the promotion of legal literacy in surrounding rural areas of Rajnandgaon district and many legal literacy camps have been organized successfully in different parts of the district. The modern facilities and ambience provided by the college, facilitates quality learning.

The college at present is still run by Nandgaon Shiksha Mandal, chaired by well known Educationist, Shri Girish Shukla and as per provisions of statute no.28, the Governing Body of the college has been constituted. The college aims at imparting high standards of legal education for the welfare of the humanity as a whole.
